Sorry about the title of the show. It’s just that every time we mention a butt in the title of a show, it’s our highest rated episode. On this episode Cheri brings in a nice “warming beverage” to go with our Live Beer Review. Tasty! We discuss our August Listener Challenge winner with our favorite Judge-a-holic, Doug in a Pub. It becomes quite obvious that Cheri is in a foul mood but she still has enough spirit to celebrate Unification Day. Rick may have found a new Alaska cabin but also finds 17 reasons why he (or anyone else) should not move to Alaska. In anticipation of our “Kilt of Horrors” episode, Rick and Cheri tell the scariest thing that has ever happened to them. Our Live Beer Review casts a spell with Warlock Imperial Stout by Southern Tier Brewing Company. Happy fall, y’all!
Rick and Cheri have been cleaning up after Tropical Storm Irma and Cheri comes by the studio with special gifts! Rick has discovered that someone (or something) has been stealing his breakfast and lunch. He thinks he might have a clue who it is. Cheri books a flight for October on the west coast. Rick introduces a new quiz, “Specialty Tartan or 80s Hair Band?” We announce the winner of our August Listener Challenge! Our Live Beer Review puckers up for Big Briar Tart Raspberry Ale by Highland Brewing Company.
It seems like a good portion of the southern United States is recovering from hurricanes and here in Atlanta we’re no different. Rick and Cheri spent most of the week preparing for Hurricane Irma to fly over. Rick decided to go out in the breeze and check out his new kilt pin which seemed to be a success. Cheri destroys the myth that working from home is a good idea. Rick believes that the universe is starting to specifically prepare him for life in the Alaskan wilderness by giving him a series of life tests. Cheri has a very telling relationship dream which may have given her hope to one day share a life with an actual real person. Rick tells a story about a first date and poop, which doesn’t end very well. Our Live Beer Review takes us on a vacation of taste with Cigar City Brewing’s Florida Cracker. Thanks for listening and supporting us, friends. Stay safe out there!
Hurricane Irma moved over Atlanta as a tropical storm. Her winds were reduced but, still, what better time to test out my new kilt pin! I’d loved to have seen more wind but at least I know my kilt pin can hold up to a Category 1 Tropical Storm.
